School is ran by the students and not the head (principal) and the staff, the district really need to investigate this on behalf of the few students that are there for higher learning. From my experience there's a feeling within of principle and some staff that are only there for a pay check. When I was in grade school we were family staff seldom called home because they took care of the situation we were scared that our parents would find out and we were also scared of the staff meaning we had a lot of respect for them we listened because they meant business. Today the staff at this particular school (principal) being #1 pretends very well, wouldn't you for a paycheck? Reviews don't lie... district do something about this let's turn school systems the way they use to be Family without Fraud....

  • Cesar Chavez High School has its ups and downs. As a student who is not like your typical teen, I find this school pretty amazing. Let me start off with the downs: •The school has a shortage of teachers. This leads to students not having the content they need to learn, and sometimes these classes with long term subs are core classes. You could be missing some big stuff. • You have bad teachers and students. There is teachers who let the kids rule, and kids who can be what we call them "super seniors" for the rest of their lives. The kids constantly disrupt the class, thus pushing other kids back. But seriously, some of these boys seem so sexist that it makes you question that they are gay and trying to cover their sexuality. • The Delta classes are NOT available for everyone! Yes that's right, the Delta classes are not available for everyone! If you take a closer look, there is hardly any CT or CAPA kids in Delta classes. Its always those Health kids in Delta classes... Hmmm I wonder why... Health kids seem to have favoritism. Here are the ups: • the school is really diverse. REALLY DIVERSE! There is kids of all races and a bunch that are mixed. I am mixed (Hawaiian, Asian, and Mexican) and I met many kids who are mixed, which was awesome. The teacher body is also diverse. We have teachers from all over the world! One from China, Nigeria, etc. So yeah, if you want to see the world in one place, check out CCHS • There's teachers that care. Yes, adults who gets triggered when you say their first names cares about the kids. What can improve: • Making Delta classes available for everyone. Let's get rid of the Health students being the privileged ones and add more students from different SLCs. We need to strive for our future animators, musicians, lawyers, and much more. More than future doctors and nurses. We already have too many in California. • Discipline those bad kids. Seriously. Suspend and expel those jerks. They don't deserve an education, they don't seem to want one. Overall: My experience attending this school was overall good. I have learned not only academic subjects, but also life and social topics. I had no idea that teens legit have romantic attractions towards big boobed anime girls, nor the fact that kids attempted to hump on a trash can. I have learned to prepare for the worst and for the funniest. The school is pretty fun. If you are a kid who is always bubbled in the same environment, you should attend Chavez. You get to meet kids and adults of all backgrounds and walks of life. THANK YOU CHAVEZ FOR MY EXPERIENCE HERE!
